I got the plus size. True to size, but the arms (elastic is on there) and it's made for a size medium woman! Ouch! I have to cut the elastic and sew in some more elastic. Other than that...good-looking costume. Overall, what I expected. A little pricey for the quality...It would be worth about 25$ less (just being honest).
A positive is that the vest is removable, so you can use it for other costumes. The dress/skirt parts come fully attached (not like a blouse and a skirt seperate). The velvet green material is the cheaper kind, but it works. The white blousy part to it is very cute and flattering. I could see getting a beer mug and having some fun with it or a renissiance cape.
The string that goes through bodice is frayed, so I will try to put nail polish on the ends so it weaves through the bodice (basically it's like trying a shoelace in a tennis shoe when it's frayed).
Overall my daughter and husband loved it on me, so I'm going to have a good time wearing it this Halloween!
NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH MY HAIR, ANY IDEAS? I have medium/blonde hair? Braid it? Get a wig? Wear a scarf?
