ok so we live in wyoming and im pretty good at makin my daughters costumes warm but have any of you found any that are epically good for cold weather? my daughter is 9 if thats any help

My nephew wore this one here in Fort Collins, CO (not too far away) and stayed toasty.

We picked costumes with long dresses and robes or pants/long sleeves so that we could wear sweatpants or something like that under it to stay warm.

Cold weather, in Colorado? Nah!

LOL, Ok so here's what we do. First, my girls NEVER want costoms that cover ankle to neck, wrist to wrist. So, what I do is get their costumes one size bigger. So, they can wear them comfortably OVER sweats, jacks, or sometimes coats! Nothing like a lovely winter wonderland... on Halloween night! Yes, it's happened! This way, they can still be whatever they want, but we can adjust for weather. Now, if by some miracle, it's not cold enough for a coat underneath, the costume is a bit loose. Some pints in the right place, or a ribbon tied tighter here or there, and problem solved.

all the animal costumes are warm, plus any with long sleeves or pant legs:)

My son lives in Northern CO. He said it snowed last week. Too early for me!!!!!

we live in BC Canada and it is usualy a little nippy on halloween. I try to get my 2 year old costumes that have arms and legs, but i found an amazing pirate costume on here last year and just got some striped leggins for her, also try to get costumes that have shoe covers. that way they can wear winter boots and not liik like they are

the scooby costume is so cute

Here in Florida we think more Cool as in Weather wise cool.
