I'm in desparate need of Halloween birthday party ideas for my soon to be eleven year old triplets (2 girls, 1 boy).  There will be about 20-25 guests (4 adults, the rest kids).  It will be at my house and the kids want to do a haunted theme in appearance but not an actual working haunting house. It will take place from 6-8:30pm the night before halloween with costume dress.  I need ideas for snack/finger foods,  activities and games, music and still incorporate the feel of a birthday party... HEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!! 

you can teach them all how to do "the time warp" LOL  4 year old gradbaby just learned it and now all the other kids in the neighborhood want to learn it. (Their parents will be so proud. LOL)

First off, Deal’s website (it’s a party Palooza) is a great site for ideas.  I highly suggest you check it out!

Second, check out the recipe section of the forums. There are some awesome recipes posted up for snacks, treats, and cakes.

Another fun idea is take white cake and dye it orange (or orange box cake) and chocolate cake, and mix them separately, then swirl them together in the cake pans. Makes a neat Halloween colored marble swirl cake. Then top it with crushed Oreos or double chocolate cookies (super fine crushed, maybe put them in a Ziploc and let your kids go to town beating them up) and then put cookies with RIP on them in half way as tomb stones and gummies worms like you would a dirt cake.

Also, if you look here, there are more cute ideas. The popcorn hand bags would be cute for kids and adults as take home gifts, and who doesn’t like popcorn? You could always make cheese and caramel popcorn to! I use this bowl as my popcorn bowl. It’s HUGE and I love it to bits! I use it all year round.

I agree that deals website is a good website for recipe ideas..you can have the kids help you bake some stuff.

oh yeah Aprils (Dealhunters) website is the bomb! Also you mentioned that you would like to make a haunted setting just not a haunted house weel I bought 2 different  room rolls from buycostumes,that can make your hallways or room into a haunted house  i did it with my hallway and will post pictures later

I wish they had this site 20 years ago when I was having halloween b-day parties. Would have been much easier. But we did not have computers or internet in our homes 20 years ago. LOL How times have changed

I cheated and took the easy road... peeled some grapes, and called 'em witches eyes, and did chicken parm chick strips... called 'em fried bat wings. You get the jist...

Point is, kids just need a story, and they'll laugh and enjoy the results, whatever you make.

I totally enjoy making fun things... not just for the kids... but everyone enjoys it. It just adds a bit of whimsy to whatever you are making.
