Hi, I was wondering if someone can give me an opinion on a pair of boots. =)

I am planning a pirate costume this year, and was going to use a pair of boots that I already own, however they are quite plain. I was just browsing a clothing website, looking at their Halloween stuff and happened to find a pair of boots that I like. The pair that they have in the Halloween section don't really suit me, but I did find another pair that I like. I was wondering, do you think they would work for a pirate and/or renaissance theme?

Yes, I think those would work great for your costume... and I would wear them all the time. I really like those.

Those are nice but I don't like wearing boots myself.

I used to wear boots all the time! I like these boots pretty well, heels of any kind tend to be uncomfortable for me but these are not too bad. Will definitely wear them again. =)

If you don't mind boots and fill comfy in them go for it they do look nice.

Good!  I think boots can be quite comfy. Of course I never wear more than a 3 inch heel.... so that could be why. LOL

I found a pair of second hand boots in my size for about $20.00 used very little and in great shape unsure if I am going to buy them or not.  That includes the shipping. They are suade so they may not be so bad on my feet.

I just bought the boots I found for 22.50 including shipping. They are were rarely used and were in new condtion and in my size so I went ahead and bought them I've seen boots of that quality sell for alot more. The were done in Black Suede and real leather.
