    Dark Queen of Hearts Adult

    Dark Queen of Hearts Adult

    Product ID: #20574

I just wrote a review for it, but I figured I would post it here too because I have no idea how soon it will show up.

    Overall I love this costume.

The costume was pretty true to size. The sleeves felt a little tight at first, but after wearing it around for a while I got used to it. The dress isn't as short as other costumes, but I probably shouldn't bend over. I'll probably go out with little shorts underneath it.

One down side is there is this itchy-scratchy material in the shoulder part of the sleeves to keep it puffy. I find it tolerable, though I'm considering putting something in there to make it more comfortable.

The crinoline wasn't stiff and only helped shape the costume a little bit. I also found the crinoline to be a bit too short. I had to wear it very low on my hips for it to even show a little under the dress.

The crown is really just a cheap piece of plastic. It comes flat in the package, and I guess you're supposed to bend it and stick it on your head. I'm afraid that it will snap if I try to do that though. Also It does not have a little red heart on the front of it. The beads on the top of the crown are black and not read as shown in the picture.

Also there are these little red ribbons/straps on the side of the dress that you don't see in the picture. You just take them and tie them into a little bow or knot in the back.

I look forward to wearing this costume on Halloween.

I don't have access to a camera at the moment, but as soon as I do I'll take some pictures :)

I understand how hard it is 2 c every single detail when ur looki @ costumes. I have resign myself 2 knowing that whatever costume I buy isn't going 2 look like how it is on the model. I just try 2 find costumes that look fabulous on my wicked curves & hope 4 the best!

Its over...and I miss it already.

Ya I think I might end up just using an old tiara that I have. I'm also considering making my own scepter.

I might not do either though, I'm very happy with the costume, and wearing a crown or carrying a scepter around all night might be a bit annoying ;)

Oh my goodness! I know about not wanting 2 carry anything! I used 2 b a purse freak, now I can't stand holding anything. I'm going as Snow White (2pc long skirt). I refuse 2 carry the big apple purse that is advertised with a lot of the Snow White costumes. Saw a flat, vinyl apple purse on another site that said poison on it. Was cute but was $60! No way! That cost more than my costume & all other accessories put 2gether. My decision was find a piece of apple jewelry & I did. Its an red apple necklace. Found it @ one of the kids accessory places in the mall. I'm gonna wrap it around my wrist like a bracelet cuz I don't like how it looks around my neck.

Its over...and I miss it already.

I found the new Dark Heart Queen costume (Product ID: #34107) to be much better. It was so popular on this site, I had to buy it from another costume site. I think the long petticoat for 29.99 would have been better for you. I mistakenly got a crinoline skirt instead of the petticoat, now I have to buy some black boy shorts, ruffled panties or pantaloons.

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark...

yeah, wearing a 2nd petticoat will help with poofing it out more.
