I was sitting on my friends bed watching tv. I was in the room alone. Out of nowhere, I feel like someone is behind me & sighs gently in my right ear "aahhhh". I jumped & turned 2 find noone there. It totally spooked me out.

Its over...and I miss it already.

Re: Share A Real Ghost Experience...

I will not mention the name of the place where this one happened, on the off chance that any of you will visit or have visited it already. However, I will tell you that it is Edmonton Alberta. The area around the place where this event occured is known to be an incredibly historic and haunted area of the city (they have amazing haunted tours there around this time of year). So that makes it all the more cool. I was working at a swimming pool in and around this area and just to tell you the look of the place is enough to just give a person the creeps. I had heard through a friend prior to working there that it was haunted...upon hearing this, I made it my mission to get a job there. Let me just say that some of the experiences there were both amazing and chilling. To my knowledge there is still a photograph, (which is not in my possesion now), of me sitting in one of the offices and the ghost of a little girl who was quite well known standing right there behind me. We never saw her in the photo until after it was developed...I wish I could say more, but there were so many more creepy experiences during my time there that it would fill up this entire web page.

Where I live there is this legend of the witch of loon lake. Her cemetary plot is cursed because the townspeople hung her. There have been stories where a couple of teenagers stole her tombstone and they later got in a car accident and died. Many people in my school go every year to look at her resting place!

Wow, that's scary! There's a story going around where I live about a vampire-like koala bear that drops out of trees onto unsuspecting bushwalkers and sucks them dry. Then he drags them back up the tree trunk and hangs them from the topmost branches for the rest of eternity so he can continue feeding on their flesh and revelling in his vampirey-koala-bear-ness.

Oh, and I made that up... :-P Those sorts of stories annoy me, because they're so ridiculous... lol

Probably just because they don't want anyway defiling it - it is someone's dead relative after all. And the car accident would of course have been a coincidence. It would have just seemed like a big deal because of the stories.

I don't have any but I must say I am hard to convince I tend not to believe most stories. Thats not to say I don't get a fright sometimes! We can all get scared and the chills down our spine.

What I find scary is just when things jump out at you. Like in the movies when everything is really quiet, and then there's a sudden loud noise accompanied by something just appearing out of nowhere. Creepy stories themselves never really did it for me either.

Re: Share A Real Ghost Experience...

i have had a few odd occurences.  Here is one:  I went with my mother and my nephew, who was probably about 4 at the time, to an old house out on long island, ny.  it was called 2nd house, because it was the 2nd house ever built there.  anyway, it had been turned into a museum and all of the the furnishings etc, were original from the period.  when we went upstairs to the master bedroom you had to stand behing a rope in a doorway and look into the room.  basically it was a room with a large dresser and a large wooden bed.  this took up most of the room.  my nephew out of nowhere then said, when i was a baby i slept in here with my mommy and daddy.  i looked at him like he was crazy.  i said, no you didn't, this is not our house.  he said, yes i did, i had a little bed right next to the big bed and i slept in it.  he described the bed exactly down to the last detail and i just kept staring at him like he was insane.  then.........   we walked to the next door and you could see the other side of the bedroom.  there was the little bed he had just described to me!  down to the last detail he was completely right!  we had never been to this house before, there was no way you could see it from anywhere else, there is no way he could have known, and 4 year olds do not have the mind to make up that kind of story!  it was freaky!!!!!!!!  he then told me about his family, etc.  it was just too weird.  now, can anyone say reincarnation?  hmmm???  afterall, they do say that as we grow older we lose memories of our past lifes but as a child these memories are still in our minds.  maybe that explains it?  i don't know.  i just know that it was crazy.

Lol, I hear you. I don't mind typing too much though, it was always something I enjoyed. And because of that I'm super-fast, haha. It comes in really handy at work.
