Every year I find my self sneaking off to parties against my husbands wishes. He's a pastor and thinks that we shouldn't participate in the spooky festivites. He says That it's dark and pagan, but he loves christmas. If you go back and look into the origins of christmas It's just as pagan as any other holiday.

Yes, This thought has occured to me and I find myself feeling like I have no choice but to eventually give in.

That's what I keep telling him but he;s pretty stubborn.

Oh you poor thing.It is bad as you don't want conflict at home but you should as an individual have the right to choose what you believe ( and celebrate)and what you want to do for yourself with your own life and if he chooses not to participate then that his choice.Even if you don't 'celebrate' it as a pagen ritual but as a FUN time to party.That all I think of halloween another excuse for a party just like New Year!!
