The prize would have been $100 off our rent. Oh well, we're going to try again this year and we'll make sure it's always turned on!

 That's very cool. Around here it's understandable to start decorating outside really early because if you wait too long then you are putting lights up on your house in below zero weather and people would rather just put it up before it gets too cold.

We are actually the ones that moved away now that I think of it October. My siblings and I have all grown up in Michigan. My mom's family lives here but she doesn't have much to do with them. Then my dad's family all lives in Indianna. We used to go there the week of Thanksgiving or the week after Christmas and celebrate with them. Then as my brothers and sisters started moving out and my dad started getting sick (long story) we stopped going. My dad couldn't drive down and my mom wouldn't drive down. Then it was just my parents and me living in the house and we moved about a half hour away from our old house. So now they don't want to make the drive out here so much. Which is dumb but people here want to live like 10 minutes from eachother with gas prices the way they are. Anyway everyone has just decided that making plans with their familys and their in-laws is just too much of a pain and not worth it. I personally think that sucks.

 Yeah I try my best. I do love them a lot... they are my family and all lol. I didn't realize what a novel I wrote you till just now lol. If you actually read all that... you go girl.

 I will b honest, no i didnt read it all. When it comes 2 long paragraphs, i just skim. Especially on the BlackBerry with the little print.

 I don't blame you lol. I didn't realize how much I wrote until after I posted it I'm like ok nobody's gonna read that.... I wouldn't lol.

 Thats just how i m. Thats what the teachers taught me 2 do in school so if its more than 5 sentences, i skim.

Aw, I did! But I'm often just as wordy, so I read everything other people write, too. :)

 I swear, I have been hyped for Christmas since like July.  Now that Halloween is over, the excitement is double time!

 Well thanks Jena. I skim too only because if I read everyone's posts that were that long then I would literally be on the computer for hours and I don't want to be lol. But yeah Gina I'm officially excited too. I can't wait till my work week is over so I can put some money in the bank and do some shopping.

 Ha went to the bank today actually and I had soooooo many coins to turn in lol. Poor lady. I'm a waitress so change adds up fast. Had about $100. The two paychecks so I'm definately ready to start shopping for everyone else... because I already bought myself a scarf and a pair of pj pants lol. Priorities.

 Unless u work @ a bottomless restaurant, i relly believe u need those pants. The sacrf is 2 keep u from getting sick so u can show up 4 work 2 make the $. Isnt it great how i justify purchases? Especiallyt since i bought another pair of heels & have no idea when im gonna wear them!?

 I did need the pj pants..... but I already have like 7 scarfs.... but not that color and are that soft! lol.
