    Reindeer Balls (Cake Truffles)

1 Choclate cake mix, baked as directed and cooled
1 Cup chocolate icing - Store bought is okay, homemade is better
1 package (16 Ounces) Choclate bark, melted

    *Spinkles are optional

Once cake has cooled, crumble into a bowl.  Add icing and and mix well.  With your hands, take a tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball.  Place balls on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.  Once you have finished, place cookie sheet in the freezer for 30-45 minutes.  While they are freezing, melt the almond bark.  Once frozen, take out of the freezer and dip in the almond bark *TIP* Stab a tooth pick in the cake ball and use it as your handle.  Repeat until all balls are covered.  Allow coating to harden. Re-melt remaining almond park and place in a pastry bag.  Cut off the tip and fill in any holes.  Drizzle over top of the balls and add spinkles.

You can use any flavor cake mix and icing.  Other flavor combinations include:

*Lemon cake, lemon frosting, and white almond bark.

*Red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting and white amond bark.

*Spice cake, cream cheese frosting, and white almond bark.
