Hi am having this party for my baby girl she's turning 1 !!!!

So I wanted some ideas of what should i do for the kids and adult

A small cake just for her to dig into is great with a larger one for everyone else.

Keed the food in mini size since it's for little kids.  Mini cupcakes, little cookies, mini ritz crackers, chicken nuggets, tator tots, etc.

If you are really creative you can decorate sugar cookies to look like faces with hair, etc for each of the guests.  You could also decorate small food items to look like ladybugs, bumble bees, or other cute insects.

It all depends on your theme, your budget and how much time you want to spend.

Insect themed food is always cute. All that sounds good, as long as there's no hard bits in any of it!

 I am planning of doing it kinda buffet style.  Nachos, spinach dip, chips, ranch dip, I haven't decided what the main course is.  But then I am making a cake and a mini cake for him.  I am doing the One Special Boy theme.  When does your LO turn 1?  Isaiah turns one on February 28th (technically, the 29th, so no birtday for him!! lol )

We are doing a alice in wonderland theme for our girl firgured it would be nice for both the boys and girls since she knows more boys then girls lol

Alice In Wonderland is such a cool theme! Even for adults :P

Speaking of Alice In Wonderland theme, a great recipe for the kids is peanut butter and jelly rolls. Take slices of bread, probably white because it's usually the kids favorites, and cut off the crust so that the bread would be a square. With a rolling pin, or your hands, flatten out the piece of bread. Spread PB and jelly onto one side, and gently roll the bread. You can serve it that size, or slice it in two or three pieces for mini versions. Hahaha this was a recipe I learned when I was 6 from a Strawberry Shortcake book I had. Goes great with the tea party/mini theme too!

I went to an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party just a couple of years ago. My friend Kelly and her mother love to cook and they had really good stuff. The birthday cake was made of cupcakes and she had things like bowls of chips that were giant teacups, and all the drink bottles had a "drink me" tag on them... lol

Cute. I like the drink me tags for the drinks.
