Yes that would be good unless it touched their lips!! I will put some in a ice bucket with water, just for effect. And yes feel free to look me up if ever down our way. I only get aboutn 10 kids  and 1 of them is mine! she takes the little children from down the road from door to door and they do ok but most dont have anything as it is not celebrated here in Australia as I have said.

The test tube shots were a big hit everyone loved them.I kicked started the party by having 3 condition of entry.1 attach a toe tag (name tag) 2.have ID photo to identify bodies! and 3. consume 1 vile embalming fluid! (test tube shot of Jagermister!) We put all the photos and more taken during the party on a disc and I put it in their treat bags that I gave out as they left the party.

Where do you live again Caroline? Adelaide wasn't it? I've never been anywhere in Australia except for Queensland and New South Wales. Most of my family is in Brisbane but my older brother moved to Sydney a year ago. Actually Scott and I spent the long Easter weekend there, which is why I haven't posted for a couple of days. We had a fine and dandy time. I was expecting Sydney to be a lot colder than Brisbane but it was actually pretty warm. The last two times I went to Sydney it was colder than Brissie.

I thought about making it a condition of entry to my party that you had to be in costume, but I didn't really want to discourage people from coming if they really hated fancy dress, lol

Yes I suppose so.I was lucky everyone was very keen and excited to get into the spirit of the party. I received my daughters costume forthis year yesterday. From buycostumes she loves it and it fits perfectly! She is going as supergirl.I bought the teen size and it is not too short! She loves it.

Re: What are you wearing this year?

That's the two-piece one right? How tall is your daughter? I like the supergirl costume but I bet the skirt would be too short on someone as tall as me, lol

Re: What are you wearing this year?

Yes its 2 piece. It is the teen one not the adult ,so maybe the adult would have a bit more length.it is short but not too bad.She is very thin and 5'6" only a size xxs or 6 (aussie) and the skirt is tight and fitted and looks great if you were bigger then a 6 or small 8 it would be very tight and I would recommend the ladies. The only slight prob was the gold belt was missing but she is fine without it.

Re: What are you wearing this year?

Yeah, I'd definitely have to get the adult one. I got the Teen size for the Red Riding Hood costume but it was very large for a Teen size. I suppose it might not be too bad since it's a two piece, which means that you can at least pull the skirt down further if you need to. If it's one piece you can't do that.

I really like that idea. Incorporating it into a gift for guests is great. We have a lot of kids that come to our party as well... with my six kids and their invites and a few cousins. We usually have the party geared towards the kids the first half of the evening with skull pinata and party games and the later part of the evening more geared towards adults. I have one couple that doesn't dress up so I will have to think of an "entry fee" geared to children and adults, dressed and undressed. Any ideas?? :)

Forgot to say what I was wearing this year! I have not decided for sure but I am thinking about a bloody chef outfit. I bought the leatherface apron from here and might do something with that.... it is creepy. Wanted to do something different.

Have a nice bottle of wine or gift for Best Dressed , that will give them the incentive to come dressed up!
