Lol, I suppose if the kids are inside they can amuse themselves but outside they always need at least one other person to play with!

Well, having as many kids as I do they have always had each other to play with.... my youngest is a bit different. When the older kids are in school or with friends he plays with me or daddy.... mostly me because daddy has to work most days. He is my buddy and quite a fun kid. :)

Home Goods is now expected to get its Halloween stuff at the end of August now. Used to almost always be at the end of June or July

hmmm... that is quite a bit later.  I wonder if our economy has something to do with that.  I would bet it has something to do with it.

It would make sense. I would spend more if I had a longer time to buy but I know stores don't like having inventory tied up. That's one reason buycostumes.com is so great! Year round buying and planning! :)

    Re: Halloween items in stores

Do you ever look for Halloween items in thrift stores? Is it ever anything like in this blog:

    http://thesurfingpizza.com/2008/10/10/a-disturbing-halloween-costume-from-1992/

See my blog page entry from July 6th:

    http//:jannghi.blogspot.com

So far the hospital thrift store is the only one I've seen any Halloween stuff in.

I kind of wonder why stuff like a cloth cowboy hat from a state fair gets thrown in with Halloween items.   I half expect to see the same thing happen with the sombreros that they give out a Mexican restaurant near where I work.   I actually saw some of the hats at the thrift store, but they were displayed on a rack with other hats.

I have never looked in thrift stores for Halloween stuff. I should pop in to ours and see what all they have.

Your blogspot did not work for me.
