    Re: Christmas Crazy Favorites

Well, first we start on Christmas Eve day with my husband's family. We go to his parents' house where his mother, father and grandmother live. His brother, sister-in-law and their daughter, aunt, uncle and their children come down and we spend a couple hours there. Then we all go to his other grandparents' house, one street over, where his father's whole side of the family is and spend another couple hours. Then we go to either my parents' house or aunt's house and visit with my father's side of the family (all his siblings and their spouses and kids).

In the morning, we go to church, then go to my mother's mother's house and spend Christmas Day with all those aunts and uncles and cousins. After that, we head back to my parents' house again to visit with just my mother, father, brother and husband (and our pups).

It's tiring, but we get to see everyone. :)

    Re: Christmas Crazy Favorites

Dave's side of the family is 29 people in total (including the two of us).

My father's side of the family is 29.

My mother's side of the family is 33.

And both sides just keep growing as more kiddos are born! :)

    Re: Christmas Crazy Favorites

My grandmother makes one big turkey or two smaller ones and lots of sides. Dave's grandparents make tons of pasta and lasagna. If everyone brings something, it works out well. :)

Of course, I enjoy spending time with my family, but, does anyone else enjoy NOT HAVING TO GO TO WORK! I get to sleep in for a week!  YEAH!
