Does anyone else get nervous when they buy a costume that has no reviews? I know that somone will always have to be the first one to try it out, but I always like seeing what other costumers thought about it before I buy something.

Most of the costumes I'm thinking about buying this year don't have any reviews yet becasue a lot of them are new, so I'm nervous about how they will fit, or what the quality will be like.

There are also some older costumes that I'm sure people have bought, but it looks like no one bothered to leave a review.

I'll be sure to leave a review for the itmes I order so that they can help other people out :)

Good on you :) Reviews are definitely helpful. Personally I'm not too worried about buying a costume that has little or no reviews but that's just because I know that if it doesn't fit me or I don't like it myself, I'll still be able to use it for my costume shop. So lucky me, I don't have to worry about buying something that might not be right for me :)

YEs  i agree i like to read the  reviews before i buy it but the good thing with lookin this early is that you will have time to retun  it

yes, because when i buy online, i can't actually try the costume on. so i depend on the reviews, and the especially helpful ones are the ones that include pictures

i like seeing pics in review to. it always helps and it helps with my decision on whichever costume i happen to be looking at

but sometimes there are mixed reviews and i get really confused. like some people love the costume while others completely hated it. and i don't know which reviews to trust. ><

Don't you absolutely hate when these things happen? I dont like to be confused when I am about to order something, but at least I know that it is still always returnable.

i've never had to return anything that i bought online yet. but it seems like such a hassle to me

I like reading the reviews, but I'll still buy a costume if it doesn't have any reviews.

I've bought quite a few things and almost everything that i have bought that had a review i've loved. The stuff that had no reviews i ended up sending back.

It makes it hard with all the new costumes coming in for 2009, because a lot of them don't have any reviews yet.

yeah, so i'm waiting for the halloween stores to open up so that I can actually try these costumes on, since they don't have any reviews yet

Party City should have their Halloween products out on the floor, I believe.

It might depend on where you are located though, and it wouldn't hurt to call ahead before heading to the store.
