    General Costume Photos

These are the only 2 photos I have of me in costume so far.

This one's me at my boyfriend's father's birthday party. It had a 50's theme so I hired a Leg Avenue costume from a shop near me and went as a 50's girl. Just wish I had a nicer stomach :-P

This one's from my friend's Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party. The Queen of Hearts costume is on this site but I hired this one from a different place too. It was so short on me that I had to wear tights which unfortunately made my legs look really chubby :-P

I liked my boyfriend's costume though - we got the hat from a different place which is why it didn't match but the overall effect turned out quite well.

    Re: General Costume Photos

Really? I thought the Queen of Hearts costume was a lot shorter. It would have exposed my bum without those tights, but I didn't even need to wear anything under the 50's skirt.

    Re: General Costume Photos

I liked it because it actually seemed to be designed for a girl of my size and shape. The other one was meant for someone shorter than me so it looked weird. But we'll see how I go with my future costumes! I'll post photos of me in my Christmas Cookie and Kiss Me Kitty costumes once I've done myself up properly in them.

I think you look great in both. I bought a poodle skirt costume for a 50's themed party I had too. Funny to look at your picture because I had the same decorations at mine. Can't wait to see your other photos.

    Re: General Costume Photos

Cheers :) I think there's only so many 50's decorations you can have so it's no surprise that they looked similar to yours, haha.

Regular Poodle skirts are too common though. Mine was different which I liked - no one else had the same costume. But I do like the Tuff Cookie costume on the site. The top is awesome and the skirt looks really good with it.

    Re: General Costume Photos

My next order arrived today and I took photos as I tried them on. I loved the Lady Luck costume, the Red Riding Hood costume was good (and the Teen size fit, yay!), but my favourite by far was the Purrfectly Pretty Kitty costume - it's ADORABLE!!! :D

    cool costumes!

by the way, the tights look great on the Queen of Hearts...Tights make legs looks sexier and slimmer, not "chubbier!"

    Re: General Costume Photos

Mmm, personally I don't think so... but whatever floats your boat. Maybe my legs just looked chubby because the skirt was so short, and of course the further up your legs you go the wider they get, haha

    Re: General Costume Photos

In the Red Riding Hood costume? I actually thought that one made me look the biggest, lol. Even the Teen Size was a little big around the bust so you can see the top part sagging and crumpling a little. But not too much. And I'll probably like the length of the skirt better once I get the proper red petticoat to go with it.
