This year will be my daughter's first Halloween and I'm thinking of buying her the Lil' Stinker Costume and was wondering if anyone has purchased this before. She will be a fresh 10 months old and is average sized. The reason I'm thinking about ordering the 12-18 instead of 6-12 is because I hate it when costumes are too short and show the ankles. Anyone know from experience how this fits?

Cute costume....and cute little girl you have!  I always picked my sizes by baby weight instead of age because babies are always so different in size.   The 12-18 months is 19-22 pounds.

Looks cute, indeed. The name however, made me laugh :-)  Though it is quite fitting :-)

Personnaly I would order the 12-18 ..last year I ordered a 18-24 for my son and he was 15 months old at the time.

The fit was quite good... the cosume was the Lil' Penguin Elite Collection Infant/Toddler Costume

Yep, and even now I can't go off the costume size for my rugrats. My older two are 11 and 8, but their upper halves don't always match their lower halves for any kind of clothing. If the costume is two pieces, and it says Medium, great! My oldest can wear the top, and my younger can wear the bottoms... maybe. Weight and measurement is always a good call.

And if in doubt, order in advance so you can return/exchange if need be. Or, find a local halloween store, test the size out, then pay less online.
