What Homemade props has Anyone Ever Made?

So far my homemade props include a haunted wood sign, a casket, and a stone pillar for my statue head

Besides using store bought things in creative ways... we haven't really made anything from scratch.... yet!  This year will be different. I found a great website.... www.hauntproject.com that has a ton of projects that I really want to do. I will have to pick and choose which ones to do this year and which ones to save for later but I am very excited to try the coffin and a couple tombstones.... an obelisk tall tombstone and one that looks like a zombie is trying to escape from it.

You really need to check that site out.... it has become my favorite for projects.

Re: What Homemade props has Anyone Ever Made?

Four years ago, I made some ghosts from small paper bags using papier-maché. I cut eys and nose hole from the bags, then stuffed the bags with crumpled newspaper to stand them up while applying newspaper strips with paste (made from flour and water).   Every year since, I've displayed the ghosts on the window ledge above the kitchen sink (the only window ledge in my house that's big enough to hold them!)

i think it would be cool to like create  a witch's layre and put the witch from the website smack in the middle of it... i love things involving witches and stuff.. that would be cool. the you could get bats, cauldrons, black cats and spell books
