Believe it or not. I still remember the day, I was about 8 years old, said "Trick-Or-Treat", and this little old lady, bless her dear heart, placed an ear of corn, husks and all, in my bag! My brother got one too!! Never went back the next year.
every year this jovhas witness family would give us these ugly black papers what said all this stuff all over them and an old piece of candy on top. Its the thought that counts i guess lol

i got a toothbrush and lil toothpaste from a dentist, son of a gun probably got them for free. cheapskate.
I had a similar instance where an old man seemed confused as to why we were knocking on his door .. he went to the kitchen and came back with bruised apples!
I got a pencil with what appeared to be a used eraser on top. Nice!

We hit a neighborhood one year that about half of the houses were really old people so instead of giving out candy they were giving out home-made treats. This was the year after a girl in vegas had died after a drug overdose. The man that had given her the popcorn ball had laced it with cocaine. That and a 6 year old don't work very well together. The man was put in jail but after that all the parents were nuts when it came to checking candy. Well needless to say most of my candy got thrown out that year because of the scare. I was mad then but now with kids, i can see where my parents were coming from.

That's gross!! First off candy corn itself is yucky, second someone had their paws all over the candy you are supposed to eat. CA-CA!
I agree I hate candy corn i think its really sick. I also dont like peeps at all. Speaking of worst treats though when i saw this post i remember my lil sis coming home from trick or treating upset because someone gave her a small box of wheaties lol.
I went to a house and they gave me a flyer about how hallowwen was evil I was like 9 or 10 I don't understand why some ppl feel the need to push their belifes on others. Just turn your darn light off and let the kids have a fun night
