Just sitting her wondering....

Why is Halloween so Addicting???? I am not addicted to any other holiday, so why this one. I did not do anything for it for years, and then kids came along, and now I am totally addicted. I can't go into a halloween store with out buying, buying, buying. 

It's always more fun with the kids.

Even when my kids grew up, and before I became a grandmother, I was still addicted. And now with Grandkid around, I am getting worse!!!! I guess it could be worse. I could be addicted to a harmful substance. Thank goodness I am not!

My kids definately took me from enjoying the holiday... to really getting into the holiday. When you see the happiness and excitement on kids faces... how could you not get into it?! As my oldest kids got older and they stopped trick or treating... I was bummed for them... and me! So we started having parties so that they still had something to look forward to for halloween. I can not imagine not having a halloween party now. :)

I've always loved dressing up, although my plans never seem to turn out as awesomely as I'd hoped for. I wish I had friends who loved dressing up as much as I do, then maybe I'd have some costume parties to go to throughout the year and not just for Halloween. =) Some day I'll have some little ones of my own and that will make the holiday so much more. Can't wait to dress them up! He he.

Because it is one of the times of the year we all get to pretend. Everyone loves dress up.

I know how you feel. im the same way. for some reason there are more boxes full of Halloween decor then Christmas.
I walk into a store in the Halloween season and there is no way im comming out without something.
Its a fun holiday for the young and old.

yes! I totallt agree!! I also have more Halloween props and decor then Christmas! My husband wants to change that! Lol!!!

For me... Christmas is decorated with beautiful and traditional things. Many things I intend to pass down to my children eventually that hold the spirit and memory of many Christmas' past. I like getting something new every year to add to the decorations we already have.

Halloween is a whole different thing. It is just plain fun.... and anything goes. Its a time to put yourself in shoes that you never can any other time of year! You gotta love that! lol
