Do you guys think that Jack Sparrow is the greatest Pirate?

He's gotta be the best pirate who never really existed!! ....or did he? Haven't seen the films. Gotta say Black Beard is a personally favourite! ;)
I think Johnny Depp rocked as Captain Jack Sparrow....loved him in those movies and yes I think he is the best Pirate I loved his "swagger"
Do you think it's sad that Jack Sparrow is more famous than the real pirates who created the meaning of the word? I mean, Jack is just an imatator--even if a good one--so it seems a little sad that he's overshadowed the "real" guys and gals. Whaddya think?
