We were allowed to open our stockings before going to church and then the rest of our presents afterwards so that it would help with some of the anticipation. :)

My husband's family decorates on Thanksgiving at night, so that's what we did last year and will do again this year. My family usually waits until the beginning of December, but I'm more than happy to adopt Dave's tradition, since I love decorating for Christmas! :)
