I LOVE wigs! As far as masks are concerned, they are a great solution for monster costumes etc. when the wearer doesn't have knowledge of FX makeup. Celebrities and other historical figures, in my opinion, should really be done with makeup and wigs. Also, here's my version of Marie Antoinette...

I mentioned in another thread that I like to glue the mask to a cheap pair of sunglasses. Then you can easily take off the mask without messing up your hair, wig, or hat. It's also much cooler and less claustrophobic. Break out the plastic lenses so your eyes won't be shaded.

What a beautiful Marie Antoinette! And thanks for the tip about putting your own hair down inside your clothes. I love hairpieces instead of wigs. I can add fullness and/or length without getting too hot! I like masks, but I get too hot and feel claustrophobic. I like to glue masks onto cheap sunglass...
