I LOVE wigs! As far as masks are concerned, they are a great solution for monster costumes etc. when the wearer doesn't have knowledge of FX makeup. Celebrities and other historical figures, in my opinion, should really be done with makeup and wigs. Also, here's my version of Marie Antoinette...

I've used a few wigs, Paris Hilton last year, short black bob, and Daisy Duke, which I didn't wear since I'd just had my hair done that day and didn't want to mess it up. Definitely try it on beforehand, but again, it's only for one night or two. I've never worn the hair net underneath...
